Biochemical testing

Biochemical testing is a comprehensive laboratory analysis performed to assess the functional status of human organs and body systems, determine the need for macro- and micronutrients and vitamins, evaluate hormone and enzyme levels, and identify metabolic disorders. Venous blood is used for this analysis.

Indications for testing include:

  • Health status monitoring. A general practitioner may recommend preventive testing once a year.
  • Diagnosis and management of infectious and non-infectious (somatic) diseases.
  • Monitoring treatment dynamics. For optimal accuracy, it is recommended to undergo follow-up testing at the same medical facility.

The Family Laboratory performs biochemical testing in the following areas:

  • Rheumatic tests (rheumatic panel);
  • Protein metabolism;
  • Carbohydrate metabolism;
  • Lipid metabolism;
  • Pigment metabolism parameters;
  • Enzymes;
  • Mineral metabolism;
  • Specific proteins;
  • Vitamins;
  • Coagulation profile (coagulogram).

The Family Laboratory helps you stay healthy. Early detection of diseases is the key to effective and timely recovery.
